You may have found my website searching for a newborn photographer in Bedfordshire as you are due a baby or you have just had your baby! From the minute they are born, they just keep on growing! You may not feel up to coming along for a photoshoot after just giving birth, but I promise you it will be worth it, capturing precious memories of your newborn. It would be nice if you are in a few photos too. Scroll down to see samples of my work. My style is simple and timeless. After doing newborn photography for around 7 years, I no longer use props, I'm led by baby and I'm loving it. It's all the little details like a stretch or a yawn! Your baby may sleep the whole session or may want to be awake not missing out on what's going on! Either way I will be capturing all those little details. I will advise you on what to wear to get the best from your photo session. My cosy studio is situated in Wixams.
Packages I offer
I offer 4 packages, which you can decide which package after your photoshoot. All I ask is at the time of booking you pay a £49 deposit to secure your photo session. This £49 then comes off of whichever package you decide. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours, includes parent and sibling images along with a private online viewing gallery. Whichever package you select it also comes with matching printed photographs.
5 digital images - 5 matching photographs - £149
10 digital images - 10 matching photographs - £199
20 digital images - 20 matching photographs - £249
Of course if there is more than 20 photographs you love you can purchase more!
How early can I book my newborn session?
The earlier the better you enquire I pencil you in my diary then an official session date is arranged once your baby has arrived. Feel free to message me if you have just had your baby and haven't booked in, I always try my best to accomodate you, sometimes short notice can work for me. New parents love my online booking system as you get to see my availabilty and can book online for a time that suits you. I find mornings work really well either 10am or 11am.
What is the best age for newborn photos?
Newborn sessions ideally take place between 7-21 days old. From the minute they are born, they just keep on growing! Newborn babies are usually sleepy at this age, of course I will happily work with older babies, it is OK if your baby is 4 or 6 weels old! Also I have found over the years that every baby is different, I can't tell you how the shoot will go, some babies sleep the whole way through, while others won't sleep and be happiest getting milk drunk!
What happens after the session?
Around a week after your session I will be in touch. There are 2 options here. If you are going for a digital package, I will email you a link to your private online viewing gallery where you can select your favourite photos and decide which package you would like.
Otherwise, if you would love to have some framed photos, a canvas or a collage of photos of your new baby, then come back to the studio where we spend time selecting your favourites and decide what sizes to you would like to print and frame your images. There are absolutely no pressure sales, I just think why have some gorgeous photos taken and let them stay on your computer. When you see my samples you will understand what I'm talking about! My studio is full of products and various size options to give you an idea on the day of your session what is available. I believe there is an option for every budget.
