I'm not sure how many people will view this! But my life the past 18 months has been BUSY! I met the man of my dreams a few doors down from my day job where I work at The Picture Gallery. His name is Barney and love was in the food! Oh yes the start to my morning! We had our first date on 17th Feb 2013 and have never looked back! He let's me be ME and supports everything I choose to do! He drove 150 odd miles to propose infront of 60 of my family members at an annual holiday....OK so he was so nervous, he literally got out of the car and asked me to marry him! I went to my family crying tears of happiness and my family were concered at what was wrong! Then as I cried my way through showing them, everyone cheered, cried and celebrated! I decided I wanted to get married before our baby arrived! So with less than 8 weeks to sort everything my mum stepped in to help plan...a godsend! We had a family wedding with few friends there (HUGE family) The day was perfect, maybe no sunshine on 15th Feb 2014 but to me it was perfect. Our son Luka decided to arrive on April fools day! No joke! I woke Barney up in the middle of the night and he thought I was joking! My son Keon woke up with the noise (contractions) and thought I was pranking! We were home by 9am with our little baby Luka. I didn't realise one small baby could bring so much happiness to so many peoples lives! I took a few months off bonding. That is when I decided not to return to my full time day job of almost 15 years. Although now I will return one day a week just to say hi and help people create artwork from their treasured photos and I miss all the regulars and oldies! But for a while, I put my laptop away and focused on my family and future! I love the hussle and bustle my life brings from work, I am just forever striving to get that life balance. Focusing more on weddings which is certainly more than a days work I can be around for Keon,  Luka and EDIT EDIT EDIT in the evenings when they are sleeping and also make quality time for my husband! I am thankful to him, my supportive parents, brother and everyone (Nanny Karen, sister in law Laura and cousin Becky) who helps with childcare when I need them! I love my photography, from weddings to funerals, newborns to My First Year cakes smashes and I'm currently mastering boudoir! I have a friend Gina who is pushing me to reach my dreams and has the confidence in me to get there! So THIS IS IT! I AM GOING OUT THERE AND DOING WHAT I LOVE! At a pace I can handle! Word of mouth advertising is the best! I don't have to work but there is a passion for photography burning within me!
